Devry is a go

I've been accepted to Devry University online classes. My major is going to be Business Administration with a specialization in management/small business ownership. I'm actually pretty excited for it. It feels like a step in the right direction.

Nothing photography wise is going on, its been so icky and when its not nasty out, I"m at work I'm currently on day 5 of 7.

And speaking of work its actually not that bad I'm pretty tired but again not to bad. Heck I can't really complain I'm making lots of money and I'm pretty much really happy there. I'm currently in the process of getting my tanning certification while the test are boring I do see it actually making an improvement around the store. I don't know about some of the stuff we're doing but hey whatever floats the owners boats. I'm not going to argue. The aspect of tanning is actually starting to fascinate me like the business side of it, maybe some day I can open my own salon. Ha ha maybe not though...

I think that pretty much covers everything going on lately. So I'm gonna go relax. Till next time peace out.

Online Classes

So I've decided to apply to Devry University for online classes. And not for photography. But for business. Not a lot to share right now as I'm applying but I'll have more to share soon to come.

Doctor Barbie! Vet Barbie! Dentist Barbie! Photography Barbie?

What to do, what to do, what to do with my life! I have no idea where I'm going from here. I know I want photography, and I want it bad. But I have no idea how to get there, or if I want something along WITH photography. So many questions, so many maybes, so many what if's!

Why can't life come with an instruction manual! OH! Wait! That would make life to easy. Silly me, I forgot. 

Well while I go ponder the world and its course for me

Everything is slowly falling in to place nicely, and I couldn't be more thrilled.

This week there have been a few ups and downs, but as goes life. 

Nothing to exciting to post, but I hope to have some new photos to share this month.

However, until than count this as a present from me to you.

And the drum roll please...

Last time I posted I said I had some big changes coming...and...they are...

Big Changes-

1.) Its looking like Hallmark is a no, and I'm okay with it. Maybe its just not meant to be.

2.) I'm looking at taking a year off to get my life and everything in order and checking out Penn State...again.

3.) For once in my life I'm going down to ONE job!!! I'm finally going to be able to say, yes I work today and not have to finish that sentence with I work here today.

4.) The job that I am leaving is...PictureMe! Portrait studio, NOT the tanning salon.

5.) The tanning salon has now offered me Monday-Friday 11-7, FULL TIME!

6.) Josh and I are moving in together by the end of March. He's moving in with me in my basement apartment until we save up to get an apartment of our own.

And I think that's all of them.  So much is changing and surprisingly I'm really cool about all of it. Actually, I'm kinda excited. Who woulda thunk? Well I have some much needed cleaning/organizing to do so...

Big change coming

I have a really big change coming up and I'm super excited but for now its all going to be hush, hush. But when I can tell I'll make a post.

photos+essay+recommendation letter= >:(

So as I mentioned in my last post Hallmark has created a scholarship. And of course me being, well me I'm a tad bit more stressed than I should be.

I think I have the recommendation down, my manager from PictureMe! Portrait Studio is hopefully going to be writing it for me (cause she's the best ;) ya know) but the photos and the essay, well *$(@$UI@$*&%(#@W*$ to say the least if I'm to be quite frank.

I'm currently working on the essay right now, I have well one paragraph and two sentences for the second paragraph. However I have a feeling the photos are going to be a tad harder... 

Anyone have any ideas, if so please shoot them this way!!!

Well I should probably get back to my essay so until next time folks...
