And the drum roll please...

Last time I posted I said I had some big changes coming...and...they are...

Big Changes-

1.) Its looking like Hallmark is a no, and I'm okay with it. Maybe its just not meant to be.

2.) I'm looking at taking a year off to get my life and everything in order and checking out Penn State...again.

3.) For once in my life I'm going down to ONE job!!! I'm finally going to be able to say, yes I work today and not have to finish that sentence with I work here today.

4.) The job that I am leaving is...PictureMe! Portrait studio, NOT the tanning salon.

5.) The tanning salon has now offered me Monday-Friday 11-7, FULL TIME!

6.) Josh and I are moving in together by the end of March. He's moving in with me in my basement apartment until we save up to get an apartment of our own.

And I think that's all of them.  So much is changing and surprisingly I'm really cool about all of it. Actually, I'm kinda excited. Who woulda thunk? Well I have some much needed cleaning/organizing to do so...

Big change coming

I have a really big change coming up and I'm super excited but for now its all going to be hush, hush. But when I can tell I'll make a post.

photos+essay+recommendation letter= >:(

So as I mentioned in my last post Hallmark has created a scholarship. And of course me being, well me I'm a tad bit more stressed than I should be.

I think I have the recommendation down, my manager from PictureMe! Portrait Studio is hopefully going to be writing it for me (cause she's the best ;) ya know) but the photos and the essay, well *$(@$UI@$*&%(#@W*$ to say the least if I'm to be quite frank.

I'm currently working on the essay right now, I have well one paragraph and two sentences for the second paragraph. However I have a feeling the photos are going to be a tad harder... 

Anyone have any ideas, if so please shoot them this way!!!

Well I should probably get back to my essay so until next time folks...

Scholarship

So, I seriously have one of the worlds best friends. My best friend (and fake wife :D) Sarah sent me a link on Facebook about a scholarship for Hallmark. This could be the key to achieving my dream! OMGosh! As Shelly and I say LD (instead of :D)

So now I'm going to be working on that, the deadline is May 1st, and I have to get a letter of recommendation a essay and three photos together. They are only giving away 50 so hopefully I get one wish me luck.

But I gotta scidattle so fairwell good night and peace out cub scouts!

Project

So I just finished a project that I started back in October(?) for Mt Nittany Veterinary Hospital.  Unfortunately its taken me awhile to get it all done. With Christmas and everything going on at work sadly it got pushed to the END of my to do list (oops!) but now its all done, all the pictures are edited, everything is on a CD, and I'm handing it over to the owner today :)  I'm so happy to be turning this in. I'm hoping I get something for this but if not I mean its cool. Mostly cause I'm excited that these are going in there brochure. Its not really that big of a deal but hey, its one step closer to my dreams than where I was yesterday right? 

Well in other news with Hallmark, and photography and everything there isn't really much going on :( still haven't found a co-signer (still looking!) and yeah nothing new has really popped up... Although I'm thinking this weekend or next I might go see if a friend wants to go out and explore with me and see if I can't find something and be like BAM! WOW! SNAP! Ha ha... Hopefully... And I kinda have an idea for something I wanna do but like I gotta get the guts and find someone first. Gosh I miss having a friend who is willing to be silly and get in a dress and just pose for me.

Co-signer

So I still haven't found a co-signer yet. But its still early, and I'm not giving up! Not yet! I said I was going to go to Hallmark in September, and by golly I'm going! 

        Although I have to say the most amazing Christmas present I could ever get is a co-signer. OMGosh, I'd never ask for another thing! Yeah I can hear the little song in my head, "All I want for Christmas is HALLMARK!" As nerdy as this is I actually did ask Santa for that lol.
